PSI 2217 - Contemporary African PoliticsCredits: 4 The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the study of contemporary African politics. Readings and lectures will focus on the historical, cultural, and economic aspects of African political development from the colonial era through today. Particular attention will be paid to issues and problems that face contemporary African governments. We will also address Africa’s interconnectedness to the Western world.
