Required:
One course above the 1000-level in each of the following categories:
- Ancient World or Europe before 1789
- Modern Europe (since 1789)
- America
- Asia
Two courses must be seminars at the 3000- or 4000-level
Four additional courses, of which three must be at the 2000-level or above
(the capstone). Departmental Writing Requirement
DEPARTMENTAL WRITING REQUIREMENT: Students who major in History are required to take TWO 3000-level seminars, one of which must be taken in the Junior year. |
