Computer Science Major with Education Minor

Secondary Certification

Students may earn Maryland certification in Computer Science at the secondary level (7-12) by completing McDaniel College degree requirements and the following:

Computer Science Major

Completion of basic Computer Science major

Education Minor

Completion of all Secondary Education Minor requirements and the following required courses:

EDU 1141 - Teaching and Learning in a Diverse Society *
EDU 2100 - Internship in an Ethnically Diverse Setting *
EDU 2240 - Planning and Evaluating Instruction OR
EDU 2304 - MS Mathematics Methods
EDU 2140 - Practicum in Planning and Evaluating Instruction OR
EDU 2104 - Practicum in MS Mathematics
PSY 2209 - Developmental Psychology *
*Course may fulfill a McDaniel Plan requirement.
