It is my privilege to extend to you greetings from the faculty and staff of Graduate and Professional Studies at McDaniel College. We want to ensure that as a McDaniel student, you are treated as a valued member of our academic community.
Currently, McDaniel College offers more than 25 graduate programs including both advanced certificates and master’s degrees. Our graduates can obtain initial teacher certification as well as endorsements in a variety of areas. Recognizing that education is constantly changing, we are changing as well, continually adding new programs to make sure that educators around the state can obtain the degree and endorsements they need to advance their career from their school of choice, McDaniel College.
McDaniel College is the school of choice for graduate programming because of the strength of our offerings. McDaniel alumni have been named Maryland State Superintendent of the year, Maryland State Secondary Principal of the Year, Maryland State Teacher of the Year, and Maryland State Counselor of the Year. McDaniel College provides the level of graduate education that you, your students, and your professional colleagues deserve. Our graduates demonstrate that every day.
McDaniel College is not just about degrees in education. We also have certificate programs for writers with courses taught by award winning authors. Our Human Services Management program is a model in graduate education that is recognized nationally for its unique connections to the workplace. We offer education programs in gerontology including a 4+1 degree option where students can complete both an undergraduate and graduate program in only 5 years. Our Deaf Education program has been nationally recognized as a quality leader for many years and continues to attract students from around the country.
