SLM 550 - Professional Portfolio

Prerequisites SLM 501 and SLM 506
In this course, candidates create a digital portfolio, demonstrating they have met the five standards for certification established by the 2010 AASL Standards for Initial Preparation of School Librarians: (1) teaching for learning, (2) literacy and reading, (3) information and knowledge, (4) advocacy and leadership, and (5) program management and administration. Candidates align artifacts with the standards and elements, compost reflection statements, and collaborate with peers through the revision process.
