WRT 524 - Romance Writing Workshop

Prerequisites WRT 521, WRT 522, and WRT 523
This course is intensive practice in revising the romance novel. Course topics include story beginnings, scene expectation, scene sequences, transitions, and plot escalation. Candidates will submit their first thirty pages of story at the beginning of the second week of the course, study a sample critique of scenes to understand the process, and then critique each candidate’s first thirty pages.
