PUA 502 - Public Policy Credits: 3 Prerequisites PUA 501 The course is designed to prepare public administrators for their role in the public policy process by engaging public policy and program analysis. Candidates will examine the role of context, values, institutions, networks, organizations, and accountability in the public policy process. Through analysis of policy development and implementation, candidates will recognize effective work in public policy requires an awareness of the multifaceted interactions, competing directives, and the complex decision making that goes into developing and implementing public policy.
