CUR 504 - Brain-based Teaching and Learning


Credits: 3
Candidates will explore insights into brain development and its effects on the learner and learning process. The course will balance research and theory of brain function with brain-compatible learning strategies. Topics to be addressed include areas such as: intelligence, recall and memory, attention, concentration, motivation, information processing, personality, learning disabilities, learner differences, learner development, brain myths, and brain/body connections.
