CUR 516 - Creative Problem Solving for Educational Innovation

This course presents creative problem solving as a tool for educators to use in identifying, designing, and implementing educational improvements and innovations in their schools. Candidates will learn and apply a process that uses divergent and convergent thinking to sense needs, research relevant factors, define problems, brainstorm solutions, and evaluate best alternatives to address educational concerns. They will apply creative problem solving to develop an educational improvement/innovation plan.
