LGE 602 - Global Financial Leadership and Operations

Credits: 5
This course examines first, global financial leadership from both a macro and comparative economic perspective and second, develops broad conceptual frameworks for evaluating and leading global operations including process, quality, capacity, and inventory. Economic systems can vary significantly in the nature of their institutions and the values and beliefs that underpin the rules that structure economic, political and social interaction. Developing a useful understanding of these institutions can be severely limited if study is confined to one country or type of economic system, hence cross-country and cross-cultural comparisons are emphasized in developing effective business strategy and efficient operations.
