MLA 503 - Creativity: The Aesthetic Journey

This course explores a variety of creative expressions and their artistic, philosophical, social, and/or political contexts. Candidates survey, compare, and engage in various endeavors in the visual arts, art history, music, writing, and literature as well as identify creativity across various media and disciplines. Candidates produce a creative piece and critically reflect upon their own contexts and influences.
