KIN 542 - Current Issues in Interscholastic Athletics

This course will provide a synthesized overview of contemporary issues and trends affecting interscholastic athletic administration. Topics include the analysis of the issues and trends, philosophy of educational athletics, an overview of national and state associations and professional standards, and leadership of athletic administrators in urban area schools. Candidates will integrate the professional standards to develop a professional philosophy.
