KIN 549 - Youth Development in Interscholastic Athletics

This course will explore strategies and techniques of a developmentally appropriate middle school athletic program. Topics include philosophy, psychological and physical development, successful character, citizenship and sportsmanship and home, school and community collaboration. Candidates will create a youth camp and develop the relevant policies and procedures to implement the program.
