ITL 504 - Brain-based Teaching and Learning

Candidates will explore insights into brain development and its effects on the learner and learning process. The course will balance research and theory of brain function with brain-compatible learning strategies. Topics to be addressed include areas such as: intelligence, recall and memory, attention, concentration, motivation, information processing, personality, learning disabilities, learner differences, learner development, brain myths, and brain/body
connections.
