ANA 501 - First Year Data Practicum

Prerequisites ANA 500
This practicum will provide candidates with experiential knowledge and practice in data science. It supplements and enhances the experiential requirement in data analytics. Candidates who are employed in a data-using field (including international students pursing curricular practical training [CPT]) can satisfy this course requirement by providing documented evidence of active and ongoing application of data analysis from their place of work. Candidates can meet requirements by providing a deliverable product in conjunction with professional employment or 48 CPT or by completing guided projects supervised by program faculty. Candidates not employed in a data using field can satisfy this practicum by completing a series of independent projects associated with their first-year coursework (ANA 500, 505, 510, 515, 522, and 525).
