EDL 527 - School Finance and Management

This course presents an overview of the past and present dynamics of school finance, the challenges inherent in the equitable allocation of resources, and the relationship to other facets of school management including facilities and human resources. Candidates will also gain knowledge and understanding of the link between these operational constructs and student achievement. The content of the course will provide for practical application of the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL) and the National Educational Leadership Preparation (NELP) Standards.
