EDL 540 - School Law

This course will explore the many legal issues that are integral to the operation of a public school system. Students will become familiar with portions of the United States Constitution impacting public education, selected cases decided by federal and state courts and administrative agencies, and selected federal and state statutes and regulations. This course will provide for practical application of the National Educational Leadership Preparation (NELP) Standards and the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL).
