ETM 532 - Culturally Reflective Instruction- STEM Credits: 3 This course will challenge candidates to examine how STEM instruction can be used as a lens to help students discover and confront inequities in their everyday lives. Candidates will examine how STEM topics and instructional design can engage students in exploration of real-life inequities they face in their schools, communities and beyond. Candidates will design a performance-based assessment that develops students’ capacities as problem solvers who question and challenge the world in which they live.
