GFT 504 - Best Practices in GFT I

This course examines the research-based best practices for implementing district-wide programs for individuals with gifts and talents. Topics include acceleration, grouping, differentiation and enrichment opportunities, as well as established curriculum models. Candidates will demonstrate understanding of these theories and models by examining national and local practices, disseminating information to stakeholders, and developing a rationale for a differentiated unit plan to be completed in GFT 505.
