EDU 624 - Instructional Plans in Physical Education

Note Students must be concurrently enrolled in EDU-624P
This course focuses on K-12 pedagogical content in Physical Education. The course provides an in-depth study of curriculum and instructional methods in K-12 physical education, classroom management techniques, and varied behavioral management strategies. The course teaches candidates to develop movement concepts, skill and sport theme development, and fitness knowledge for K-12 students. In addition to weekly class meetings, planned blocks of time for participation and micro-teaching in a public school classroom are required.
