EDU 575 - Adult Educator SEL

This course is designed for teachers seeking to explore how their own Social Emotional Learning (SEL) as an adult can support student success and improve student SEL in the classroom. Teachers will deepen their adult educator SEL knowledge through weekly readings, activities, and reflections—both alone and with an accountability partner and/or group, culminating in the development of a self-care plan. The foundation for this course is based in the CASEL (2022) Framework for Social Emotional Learning.
