EDU 584 - Using Evidence Informed Technology Tools to Assess Students Credits: 1 This course prepares candidates to use evidence-informed instructional and assessment practices to help PK-12 students build their understanding of content, think critically, and respond to higher levels of questioning. Topics include assessment as an indicator of student progress and the principles of neuroscience that explain how students receive information, store it in long term memory, and retrieve information from prior learning. Candidates assess and modify instructional plans to include assessment and metacognition strategies.
