EDU 562 - Strategies to Support Students of Trauma

This course provides practical strategies for educators to create trauma-responsive environments and cultivate meaningful and supportive relationships with students who have experienced trauma. Topics include creating a culture of safety and the new three R’s: relationship, responsibility, and regulation. Candidates will reflect upon how they can use practical tools and strategies aligned with the new three R’s and emotional well-being to create a positive and trauma-informed classroom or school environment.
