KIN 522 - Human Resource Management for Sport Organizations

This course covers the personnel management principles applicable to sport organizations. Topics include staffing, training, workplace environment, labor relations, compensation, benefits, laws, position descriptions, employee relations, and case studies on these topics. Candidates create human resources hiring documents, processes for evaluation and rewards, an organizational drug testing policy, and a plan to use volunteers at a sports event.
