BUA 2105 - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA)
Credits:1 Students prepare for and are required to pass a certification exam given by the Internal Revenue Service to become certified volunteer tax preparers. Once certified, the students prepare taxes for low-income individuals and families in the Westminster area free of charge. Returns are reviewed and e-filed by the faculty supervisor.
