This course provides future physical educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to instruct, demonstrate, and assess a variety of sports. It examines the skills, strategies, developmentally appropriate activities, and analysis/evaluation process for teaching team and lifetime physical activities including net, striking, and invasion games, cooperative games, creative movement/dance and gymnastics in a PreK-12 grade school setting. Topics include: tennis, badminton, ultimate, soccer, cooperative games, striking and fielding, tumbling, and fundamental movement.
