FYS 1268 - Collaging History: Subverting Narratives

Like to experiment with different artistic media? This is a hands-on course that looks at how history is often conveyed in text and image, and how various methods of collage can be used to create a layered narrative. From creating your own digital images using cellphone photography and found material collage, students will utilize historical and cultural images to understand the importance of subversive narratives in collage art.
