NUR 2101 - Health Assessment Across the Lifespan

Credits: 5
Health Assessment teaches the knowledge base and nursing skills necessary for a systematic and comprehensive health history and physical assessment across the lifespan. Normal assessment findings, differences related to race, culture, and age, and common variations from normal are discussed. The course also focuses on health promotion, wellness, and illness prevention as well as lifestyle modifications, and health education for individuals and groups. Applicable legal and ethical aspects related to assessment findings are discussed.
