NUR 2202 - Adult Health Nursing ICredits: 5 Adult Health Nursing I focuses on the fundamental principles of safe, compassionate, client-centered nursing care. Students will learn basic nursing concepts related to the care of adults with common, uncomplicated health conditions. Emphasis is placed on refinement of foundational skills and knowledge such as health assessment, clinical judgement model, and medication administration. Through classroom instruction, simulation and lab, and clinical experiences, students will continue to build critical thinking and clinical judgment to provide safe, client-entered, culturally competent care for adults in various care settings.
