NUR 4101 - Maternal-Newborn Nursing

Maternal-newborn nursing expands on nursing content necessary for safe, compassionate, client-centered nursing care applied to the reproducing family. The course expands on professional nursing content including clinical judgment, cultural competency, collaboration with members of the healthcare team, and equal access to care. Nursing content is acquired and applied in the classroom then further applied in various healthcare settings.
Prerequisite(s) Admission to the Nursing major. Successful completion of all junior year nursing courses.
