HON 3100 - Examine

Credits: 4
Lumen Scholars will engage in research-intensive inquiry to explore the “gray” areas that shape social behavior across international communities. The focus of the course will vary by semester and instructor. The course will examine how diverse populations are affected by invisible or intangible systems such as inequalities and power dynamics. Students will analyze how systems intersect with external forces such as demographic shifts, technological advancements, climate change, migration, and geopolitical influences. Historical and contemporary examples will broaden students’ understanding of cultural diversity and the complex factors that contribute to societal divisions.
Prerequisite(s) HON-2100
