DED 534 - Audiology and Spoken Language Development

This course provides an overview of the anatomical and physiological principles of audiology and spoken language development (i.e., Spoken English), laying the foundation for examining current trends and issues in the education of Deaf learners, particularly within the context of bilingual Deaf education. Emphasis will be placed on fostering supportive collaboration between educators and related service professionals, as well as providing essential support for parents of Deaf learners and the learners themselves.
