CED 511 - Practicum in Advanced, Theories, Techniques and Applications of Counseling

Prerequisites CED 505 and at least 36 credits completed in Counselor Education
Note Enrollment limited to eight students.
A practicum experience emphasizing experiential learning and application of counseling theories and techniques. This course will include discussions and in depth review of major theories of counseling. Students will conduct supervised counseling exercises in which basic attending skills, rapport building, assessment, and theory integration will be evaluated. These exercises will be observed via audio, video and in vivo.
