• Biology 1111, 1117 are prerequisites for all 2000- and 3000-level biology courses. (Students must place above MAT 1002 for all 2000- and 3000-level courses.)

Notes

In addition there is a distribution requirement. At least one course must be taken from Groups 2-4 of the Basic Major courses. Note that BIO 3311 and 3301 are Group 2 courses, so either would satisfy this portion of the distribution requirement.

Finally, the Capstone experience as part of the Biology major is required.
