At the conclusion of this five-year program, graduates will receive a Bachelor of Arts in a major field (Art, English, Spanish, French, German, Mathematics, Music, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History, Sociology, Political Science and International Studies, or Exercise Science and Physical Education) and a Master of Science in Special Education. Graduates will be eligible for Maryland teacher certification in the secondary field or PK-12 field (Art, Music, or Physical Education only) and in Special Education at the secondary level.
Requirements for this five-year program include the following:
- Requirements for the undergraduate major/education minor in the secondary content area are (English , Spanish , French , German , Mathematics , Physics , Biology , Chemistry , History , Sociology , Political Science and International Studies ) or requirements for the undergraduate majo/education minor in the PK-12 grade content area. (Art , Music , or Exercise Science and Physical Education )
