Overview
This program aims to produce thoughtful and insightful leaders within our community by educating students in the various facets of public administration and policy planning and governing. Students in the program will learn how to be effective and skilled directors in any public organization by learning from well-versed practitioners. This thirty-six (36) credit master’s program may be completed in two years with students taking a series of one-credit internship courses throughout. Courses will include but are not limited to, Public Budgeting and Finance, Communication for Public Administration, Public Policy, and Leadership in Public Organizations.
Admissions Requirements
- Completed application for graduate study
- Official transcript verifying completion of an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Three official professional or academic letters of recommendation. These requests will be emailed directly to the recommenders through your application.
- A professional resume highlighting related work experience.
- Letter of intent detailing personal and professional goals relative to the program of study.
Program Requirements
- Successful completion of 36 credit hours outlined in curriculum
- Minimum 3.0 gpa
- Successful completion of professional portfolio, presentation, and public service internship

Students will have the opportunity to select a concentration area or general electives for the degree. Concentrations include:
