Middle Eastern Studies Minor

Linguistic Competence

Students who want to minor in Middle Eastern Studies must show competence in any Middle Eastern language (Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew or Turkish) through the fourth semester of college study, through placement or course work (at McDaniel, through ARB 2212).

Required Course

• ARB 2215 - Al Amia-Colloquial Arabic

• OR

• PSI 2236 - The Politics of the Middle East
