The Master of Science in Human Resources Management provides students with opportunities to study the theories and practices of human resources management and prepares them for management positions in a variety of organizational and industrial settings as an HR professional. The program content is founded in competencies defined by professional organizations in the field of HR, such as ATD and SHRM. Through content courses in human resources management and related topics – such as organizational theory and behavior, organizational change and development, and research methods  – and through workplace experiences, students will acquire the necessary skills to be successful human resources professionals. Organizations, the marketplace, and societies in general are experiencing rapid change, and organizations must prepare to adapt to those changes.

The program in Human Resources Management is offered entirely online, primarily in an asynchronous format to meet the need for a healthy personal and professional life balance for working professionals.  Courses are offered in 8-week sessions allowing students to focus on one course at a time while maintaining a two course per semester courseload, a popular format for working adults. This program can be completed in 18 months taking two courses per semester or as little as 12 months if taking 3 courses a semester.
