Middle Eastern Studies Minor

Linguistic Competence

Students who minor in Middle Eastern Studies must show competence in any Middle Eastern language (Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew, or Turkish) through the fourth semester of college study, through placement or course work (at McDaniel, through ARB 2212).

Core (4 credits):

• ARB 2215 - Al Amia-Colloquial Arabic OR
• PSI 2236 - The Politics of the Middle East
