Description
Today’s marketers shape the products and perceptions of the 21st century economy. McDaniel’s marketing major is a professional, interdisciplinary program using both traditional classroom and immersive, experiential learning. Students will develop skills in key areas such as market research, marketing strategy, consumer behavior, marketing mix management, social media, and digital marketing. These skills are in high demand by employers offering rewarding careers across multiple industries.

Requirements for Departmental Honors
Departmental honors are recognized at graduation and are recorded on the students’ permanent record. To receive departmental honors, students must:
- Have a grade point average of 3.50 in all courses taken in the major.
- Be recommended by the department.
