An examination of global and cultural diversity through the lens of theatre practices and performing arts, such as Japanese Noh and Kubuki, Indian Kathakali, Chinese Peking Opera, and others. The class will key-in on several prominent figures involved in shaping contemporary World Drama movements. Questions about the differences/similarities in theatre and ritual among various world cultures will also be explored.
