GFT 552 - Internship for Gifted and Talented Specialist

Prerequisites GFT 501, GFT 502, GFT 503, GFT 504, GFT 505
This internship requires 160 hours of specific performance-based experiences congruent with the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) Standards. A plan for satisfying the NAGC standards must be approved by the Coordinator of GFT and successfully completed under the dual supervision of an on-site mentor/coach and College supervisor. An internship portfolio documenting the NAGC Standards is required for successful completion of the internship.
