WRT 522 - Writing the Romance Novel I

Prerequisites WRT 521
This course explores the use of character in writing the romance.  Course topics include the roles of the protagonist and antagonist, the psychology of love, and the importance of community and the relationships within it.  Candidates will analyze relationships from successful romance stories, apply that analysis to the relationship in their work in progress, and write the first scene from their stories.
