PHY 2211 - Analog and Digital ElectronicsCredits: 4 This laboratory-based course is an introduction to analog and digital circuit design and computer interfacing. Specific topics include resistive, capacitive, and inductive circuits; DC and AC circuits and their analysis; RC, RL and RLC circuits and resonance; filters; Kirchoff’s laws; operational amplifiers; theory and applications of logical gates; integrated circuits and their applications; digital counters and timers; principles of computer interfacing; and design and construction of practical digital circuits.
