THE 3373 - Theatre and CommunityCredits: 4 Theatre and Community is an experiential and process-oriented course exploring the ways in which theatre artists and community organizers can use theatre creatively to work with communities and bring forth their stories, examine sources of conflict and tension, and create group solidarity and commitment to change. Two approaches will be explored: (1) community based theatre and (2) theatre of the oppressed. Prerequisites Theatre Arts 1117. Offered every third year.
