GFT 502 - Social and Emotional Needs of Gifted Learners

Credits: 3
This course builds upon participants’ prior experiences with gifted learners, and/or prior coursework, to examine the social, emotional, and affective characteristics of individuals with gifts and talents. It also explores psychological and counseling intervention strategies involving school, home, and community. Unique concerns of special populations of gifted learners will be addressed to prepare participants to meet the needs of all learners.
