ENG 2264 - Historical Novels of the Black Diaspora

This course analyzes the contemporary historical novel as a form through which writers query the relationship of the past to the present, as well as challenge, extend, and revise national and cultural narratives. The course features novels by American, Caribbean, British, and African authors.
