MUT 2204 - Jazz ImprovisationCredits: 2 Jazz Improvisation is a “hands on instruments” course designed to equip the student with skills needed to improvise in Jazz music. Scales discussed include, but are not limited to, major, minor, Mixolydian, Dorian, Locrian, and Phrygian modes, Bebop Dominant and Bebop major, Blues, major and minor pentatonic. Prerequisites Music Theory 1129 or permission of instructor.
