ENG 3319 - Advanced Multimedia Authoring

Students build on the skills they’ve developed in Multimedia Authoring and continue to rhetorically analyze and create multimedia texts. In addition to honing their skills with web languages and design programs, students learn to manipulate ready-made digital texts (e.g. WordPress templates) to make effective arguments using multiple modes of communication. In the course students will analyze the communication practices of other multimedia texts and create documents showing the results of this analysis. Students will also (depending on availability) have opportunities to work with clients to design multimedia texts (e.g. interactive graphics, websites/pages, and video advertisements).
