EDU 508 - Businesses & Schools in Creative Strategies

This course provides participants the opportunity to learn about career development concepts through selected reading, class discussions, and visits to local business and industry sites. Emphasis is placed on the Maryland Career Development Framework and the Carroll County Public Schools Pathways to Careers, and the application of these documents in school settings. Additionally, participants will observe the impact of new technologies and globalization on the world or work and explore the implications of these forces on education and workforce development.
